I have returned from my long break from anything MINI!!!
I wanted to take my mind off the wait so decided to abandon my computer for a while. And boy did it pay off. I checked MINIUSA today and my MINI is scheduled for production!!!!! So i called the helping friendly operator from the MINI number and it said that my MINI is in production with a completion date of November 16 :impatient :impatient :impatient

Is that date usually accurate or is it just an estimation? I was hoping it was precise because that would mean my MINI would be born one day after my birthday(the 15th). And i was also wondering how long after it is completed does it take to get thrown across the ocean?

I am SOOOOO excited about this because it is one step closer to me meeting up with him. It's a boy.......I KNOW!!!
I just don't know what to name yet.

Congrats on your mini. I would check with your MA as to the particulars or once you have your VIN you can call MINI USA and get a more accurate status than online...or at least that was the case when mine was in production.

 

Calling MINI is pretty accurate compared to checking the owner's lounge

 

The date from ask mini was the date my car finished so that was accurate... the wait to get to California is a whole other matter.... takes quite a while. My car was born on 9/12... took possession on 10/24 and I was pushing the dealer to release him to me.
