Welcome. My wife also got me a New Mini for my birthday. I just am waiting for it to get here now. Should be the end of the month.

Welcome to MINI-dom!

 

I'm curious and confused so I just have to ask...

When you guys say your Wife bought you a mini for XXX, does that mean she spent her own income? Or, did she take out a loan? Who's making the payments? Or does it just mean she decided for your birthday/anniversary/christmas that she would take you to pick one out and give you permission to buy it? Does the funds come from a joint account or a individual account?

Honestly, I am feeling a little stupid here and really want to know. Bear with me because I am not savvy in this area at all.

 

My wife is a cardio-pulminologist and make twice what I make. We have a joint account, but she bought it for me. But really, this is CA, everything is community property.

 

What an awesome gift! Welcome! My soon to be delivered MINI is also a gift, but from my dad.

 

Thank you I feel very welcomed.

It was her idea, she said I should fine the one I like. She is now making the payments from her income, even though we have join account.

Born and raised just down route 15 about 20 miles in Gettysburg. Geez, should have come up to Dillsburg to meet women, I suppose. Sounds like they have some very sweet and generous ones up there !
