I just picked up my car two weeks ago. I took the car to install the rally lights that they forgot to install. On my pickup, dealer says hey by the way, we just got this BMW bulletin about your vin being part of the 06 07 vin switcheroo. He says BMW is giving you an extra year of maintenance, wind screen, 250 dollars. The letter should be going out to all of the other folks this week. Any one else got more stuff? My vin was re stamped in England. Dealer in MD says two other folks at Tate affected. He says no issue with emissions or otherwise, just wrong stamp. Anyone else here differently?

Homer...did you get a second VIN stamp??? Like Scott's?

 

If I did, I couldn't find it. Is this in the original carbrio thread?
