Just rec'd my wind deflector from MINI of Morristown, NJ. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet and realize once installed it will probably remain installed for the majority of a year. Stupid question: what is the purpose of the carrying(?) strap on the protective case? What is the proper way to use the buckles attached to the strap? I know, for the most part, who cares, but I hate it when I can't figure something out!

Any thoughts/responses to this would be appreciated.

 

If you put the straps on your shoulder it tends to stabilize the case when, on those very rare occasions, you have to put away the deflector. Otherwise, I have no idea what they are for.

In general, the case sits in my trunk as I try to follow the 90/10 rule religiously.

(40 degrees? Meh.)

 

yeah... I got no idea what the straps are for either... I hang the case up on the garage wall by the strap?
