How do Minis get to PR?

Hi, I am a new member and recently placed an order for a new mini.. I was scheduled for week 44 but was wondering if it takes longer because I am not on the continental US. Anyone out there knows?

Bienvenido(a)!

The order should take the same amount of time through the factory assembly, but deliveries go through South Carolina, at least when I ordered it. Mine took three months from date of order to arrival in PR.

The guys at Autogermana should have all the info if you ask them. Buena Suerte!

I ordered mine 12/04 and arrived 3/05, things might have changed since then... If you ordered one per your specs, they should have an order # for you to track the progress through MINIUSA.com. Ask them for it. Once the order is in, the delivery date should become clearer. Don't hesitate to call them up, I always had good responses from them. Also, ask for the person's email, that worked for me even better than the phone.

Is MSRP the same on the Isla del Encanto, or do you guys pay a premium to motor?

PREMIUM

MSRP + import taxes + delivery + dealer markup + ... + ...+. I don't have the documents right in front of me but I think it was twenty something percent over msrp when I purchased mine.

Edit: When I ordered mine on 12/2004 it was marked up 28% from MSRP. Don't know current markup.

Ouch!!

Still, it's gotta be worth the premium to have a MINI in PR. Great weather (usually), very nice people and lost of nature.
