With a bit of :impatient luck, we will have her home by the first of November!

Hard to believe, but we went to the dealer on the 2nd. Had a spot on the line for the 4th or 5th. She came off the line on the 11th, and is now at the port.

That is eleven (11) days, after signing the order. GM was never this fast. This will be the first time in 40 years that there is no a GM car in the drive.

Congratulation on your future ride! I ordered my MINI in June 22 and were introduced on September 23. It was so much fun to follow the car through the owner's lounge link. As you may be aware, the status is not the most accurate. The site stated that my MINI was at the distribution center, when it was actually sitting at my dealership. Do tell...what did you order?

Mine wa just started Monday, 2 days after order. I cant wait to get it. On a somewhat related topic did you know that dealers can take cars from one another. When I order my baby the dealer called back a few minutes later and said she had a twin that was in the middle of then Atlantic and that she could be mine if i wanted it. I was nice to some fellow MINI owner and said to let it go to them

 

That was very kind of you, but if they offered the car to you, it probably wasn't a customer-ordered car. (Or at least it better not have been - I'd be furious if my dealer "gave away" my car to another dealer/customer!)
