Northwest Mini Dealer

I am going to buy a new Mini. How is the Northwest Mini in Tacoma? Is there a sales person anybody would suggest?

Aaron At Northwest Is Great

On Wednesday (less than 48 hours left!) I'll be picking up my new JCW MCS. I have been dealing with Aaron, and he has been a saint.

For example, I went down to see my new car last week. I spoke with Aaron for a few minutes at his desk. He showed me the change order sheets they use for new cars before they are delivered.

Aaron told me that most new cars that go out can have all of their changes (things that the dealership has to do to the car once it arrives at the dealership, but before it is delivered to the customer) on a single change sheet. I have a total of four change sheets. The dealership is doing a ton of things to the car for me. I have been one demanding customer.

Aaron has been patient and kind throughout. He has listened carefully to everything that I have requested, and then he has worked to make it happen. He has been honest and he communicates with me very well, both by phone and via e-mail.

I have been in the car business for 10 years myself. Aaron is a stand out. He loves his job, he is good at it, and it show.

When I called them in June to order mine, I was told it was a ONE YEAR wait. I said I think not and called every dealer west of the Mississippi before deciding to order from MINI of Murray in Salt Lake City. I had my car in two months and a nice 1200 mile road trip home, just enough to make it thru the break in period. LOL

I ordered my Mini through Northwest Mini and Aaron is my dealer too! I'm not sure what production week I am but my Mini is due to arrive the end of this October. He was very knowledgeable, no pressure to add features that I didn't want. And carefully went through the entire list of options and answered all my questions honestly to help me determine what I needed and didn't need on my Mini.

I have been very pleased with Dan Clarke at Rasmussen Mini in Portland. He is very nice and has answered all my emails promptly. They got my mini in 3 months. Pick him up next week.

Highly recommend them so far...

Hope you North West MINI enthusiasts are familiar with the Puget Sound MINI Motoring Club - Lots of knowledgeable and helpful MINI owners and fun events. Check out http://www.psmini.org/

We bought our 2006 "S" from Tomio at NW MINI and it was a very positive experience. We were originally told it would take a year for delivery but was actually only 6 months for a custom build.

Does anyone know are they still charging an extra fee ($1000?) on top of your order?
