Extra Sales Stuff @ Delivery...

Hi everyone,
I was wondering what type of additional stuff the financing department is going to try to sell me at the end of the closing the deal? Are they going to try and sell me Extended warranty, Paint Sealant, Interior Sealant and anything else? Whats the groups take on these type of "add-on's"....

All of those extras are a rip-off. In the event that you decide you want an extended warranty, you can always buy it before the standard warranty runs out.

Hey
I just recently bought Casper and they offered me....for a nominal fee... an extended warranty, extended service contract, interior sealant, exterior sealant, their first born etc...... Came away with the car only and the finance guy was still very very nice to me

They offered the extended warranty (declined), road hazard policy (accepted), window tint (accepted), and extended maintenance (declined). But they sprang all of this on us right before we signed the paperwork, and that really took away from our sales experience

A SoCal'er here... Here we get pitched:
Extended Warranty
Extended Maintenance
LoJack <-- offset my car insurance by 15%. net cost: $1/mo.
Gap Insurance <--- strongly recommended

Oh yeah- and it always comes right before signing the paper work and after you've decided you can afford the car.

Thanks for the insight...

Thanks everyone, it's better to know ahead of time what to expect, especially when "they" know most people are incoherent and just wanting to get to their Mini...
