Hobbes says hi
I guess it's about time i introduced us. I've been lurking around this site for a month or so now, and i'm addicted already!!! 
"Hobbes" is a 2003 CR/W MCS, with premium, sport, HK sound, and he's the love of my life. My old car was a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo named Rudy. I loved it, but it was getting old, and it got 11 miles to the gallon. I'd wanted a MINI since the day they came out. I had put together sooooo many cars on the MINI website. I had everything all picked out the way i wanted, but when the day came, my boyfriend and i drove to the dealer (MINI of Charleston) and there Hobbes was. Perfect in every way. We drove up, the clouds parted, angels sang, and Hobbes said "here I am, take me home!" He was exactly what i wanted (and i didn't have to wait). He's my dream car.
I bought him on April 3, 2006. He had already motored 24,242 miles with his previous owner. We hit the 30,000 mark a few weeks ago already! That's because we did a 2,000 mile road trip in July, and we've done 2 autocrosses so far. I guess you could say we hit the ground running.
It's nice to finally be a part of this. I look forward to participating! And of course... pictures!
I saw the JC signatures on another car before i bought Hobbes. I had to have some too!

I was SO HAPPY to find a MINI with cloth seats!!!!!

I hope there aren't rules for too many pictures in a post! I guess i need to go make a sig, and join the CR owners club.
