Of course. It was a big change for her to handle something small....
I got two (had to ask for the 2nd one for the wife) of those short, red, mini go cups. Made in China musta cost the dealer at least $0.25 each, oh yeah free mat install ... that one really saved me lots of time. Somehow I had to pay another $49 for the guage install, then they got the housing a few º's off plumb.
Mints? I missed out! ;-)
It started with free cupholder and rubber mats. A few things got confused along the way, though, so the dealer made it up to me by paying for a rental car for 8 days (car got delayed and it left me wheels-less in suburbia) and giving me a free iPod adaptor w/free install. I was quite happy!

Prior to delivery, my dealer sent me a non-official key chain and a birth certificate.
When I took delivery, I got the free rubber mats. I also found what looked like a tow hook in the clovebox. I checked the tool kit in the boot and the real tow hook was in there. I guess it was used during transit and the guy who prepped it just tossed it into the glovebox.
After I took delivery, I got a $50 gift certificate good towards any parts or accessories.
I remember one forum member who got a cake from the dealer

I got a sun burn from my four hour drive home in the new cabrio.

Oh, they gave me a nice MINI keychain and a MINI hardcover book too. And they had the MINI in the showroom under a car cover when I arrived. They called the other employees around and did an unveiling with a "ta da!" It was pretty cool.

My saleslady gave me a handful of goodies during delivery including A Mini/Castrol oil pouch full of candy. Mini mints, Mini car "shampoo", interior cleaner and wheel cleaner and a Mini sun visor mount CD carrier. She also gave me a $10 gift cert. for accessories/toys. They took off the OEM cupholder, without charge. In the mail MINI USA sent me a care package including the Mini motoring diary, which I use for onboard notes/scratch pad.
Rasmussen includes rubber floor mats for free by default. Great idea around here. The rep asked me if I wanted anything else. No cool stuff on display so I took one of those snazzy red S keychains.
Oh, and I get about five cups of pretty good coffee every time I go in for service... Can we say wired?

When I picked up my Mini I got a free cup holder, free embroidered floor mats, 2 braided key chains, free ipod installation and then the dealership mailed to my home a nice black fleece blanket with the mini logo embroidered on it, what a nice touch (wrapped with a pretty red ribbon)!! I love mini....
My MINI is still in production so I don't know if they do any freebies at time of pick up, but the dealer did give me a $200 accessory credit that I put toward rubber floor mats and bonnet stripes.

But at least it was free.
