I'm telling you, it's the Four High Druid Priest. They see all and then they tell it to Merlin, who tells it to me.

Well, two updates on Motor:

1. We just broke 9000 miles.
2. We just got our first body dings. Something hit the top of the body and left a small paint mark and a small soft dent :(.

Alas, we don't seem to have any of those $75 paintless dent repair places that are all over the place by my parent's place in Arizona.

Sorry to hear about your dings - I can't believe there isn't a Dent Wizard franchise up there somewhere - they seem to be everywhere I go...

"Rollin, rollin, rollin.... keep those big mods rollin... rollin, rollin, rollin, Bli-mey......"

Installed my H-Sport 19mm adjustable rear swaybar today. Wasn't nearly as hard or scary as I thought it might be (it IS a lot tougher on the cabrio). I LIKE it... What the USS did to the car, the swaybar did even more of. The car is truly "point and shoot" now when cornering. I guess this is what folks are talking about when they say "neutral" handing... I'm a very happy camper.

Details of the install and results are on my blog.

Well, it's looks like I'm off to the emergenc room now.

Installed the Alta 15%, then punched it and snapped my own neck right in half!

And there's a new feature on my car -- I overtorqued where the grounding wire connects, and the metal snapped right off. Bored out the hole, connected it to another mount, and need to stencil "M7" next to it so I can call it a "feature"!

Odenwald run today. All y'all can be my psychic co-pilots on this one.

- Really that big an improvement? I'm jealous - buy mine's coming soon...

I'll be with y'all in spirit today (though probably lagging by 6 hours or so...) - I'll do some local twisties to get the feel for my swaybar...

Cass Holt Road to Rollins Mill Road then on to Auger Hole Road out to the lake and back might give you a real feel for that new swaybar.

Blimey, I keep telling you - -when you work on the car, wear more than just your underwear. And consider boxers.

Yeah maps and Google Earth are great things. I did a little twisty dirt road driving up in the Rockies yesterday and it was a kick. Merlin loves playing in the dirt.

Hey, need your opinion on this. Was thinking of buying eight, for the wife, for her birthday.

Is it brilliant, or potentially fatal?

What wife wouldn't LOVE those? I say go for it.

Hey, you only die once.

Then no more suffering through deciding on birthday presents, mother's day presents, valentines day presents, anniversary presents...

'course, with a wife-artist, I'm sure she's added her share of "eclectic" things in the household. And I'm sure you LOVED every one...

Now if you get a nice centerpiece to go with it...

How happenin' is that in-Dash GPS going to seem in 10 years?

I just think built-in electronics really make cars seem old, fast. Electronics changes faster than I want to change cars. Radios are bad enough.
Agreed

You know, Paul, I've gotten away with some serious s**t over the years. And I'm not really sure -- maybe it was her upbringing. One year it was a new Palm pilot, for Pete's sake. Nothing with batteries or a warranty -- that seems to be the general of thumb. I guess by that standard, then, these would be OK, huh?

Hey, and I swung by an picked up a shipping box for your swap item. No idea when it'll get mailed -- I'm just a worker bee doing as I'm told. But there's a box. And, apparently, a plan.

Back in Black

Took Tess Turbo in on Friday, to get some tint.

I think it suits her well.

Her running shoes come out on Monday -- winter tires get swapped out for her summer ones. And with it, the end of the recommended limit of 210 kmh / 130 mph.

Woot!

Tess looks HOT. Good thing she and Blimey are on different continents, or I'm sure that bad boy would be trying to get a tire under her fender trim... and he's really into girls who wear black... Tess doesn't have any pink balloons, does she?

Good thing she won't have to creep along anymore at those rediculously slothful speeds.

OMG. I had not seen that website. It's perfect!

Now, who can turn her into a sunroof graphic?

Think the wife would notice?

OMG! That quartet is so much fun! My dad sang in a barbershop quartet for years and would have loved the "Cheetahs are Pussies." You know, Abu, if you did her (graphics) on the roof it would be very subtle... black on black. But you'd need her walking away so no skin would show. Love the tint.

When I got my speeding ticket last week I expected to get written up for no license in front and tint on the front window too. But this young cop was so distracted just checking out the car and I was soooo polite, nary another thing was noted. Comedy traffic school here I come.

Surgery in 5 days and counting. Need to drive Minx as often as possible. You got any twistie errands?

Showed the wife the dominatrix. Good laughter following.

(This from she who already has her leather pants, too).
