I am about 10 days away from officially becoming a Mini owner. Had the opportunity to spend a weekend with a co-workers Mini and had a blast. It is for sale and we will consumate the deal in about 10 days. I told him it was the closest thing to gettting me to forget about motorcycles. After just crashing on the track with my bike my wife is strongly encouraging me to take up a new hobby. Maybe "strongly" is not quite strong enough.

Anyway, this car is about as close as I can come on four wheels to the experience of racing around a track on 2 wheels. It is an 03 S, and is in pretty good shape. Already starting to look through all of the aftermarket part sites and putting together my wish list.

I look forward to meeting the St. Louis crowd once I get the Mini. Looks like a pretty active group.
