About seven weeks ago my folks came over to visit, and they did not know about my MINI purchase. Well, my dad was so impressed after driving mine that he ordered his the next week! Last week, he took delivery from Hendrick MINI in Charlotte, and came back to visit for some photo ops. He hasn't set up an account yet, but I'm asking for everyone to welcome into the MINI fold. Hopefully we'll see everyone at the Dragon next year!

You know it's weird. I am the "mature" member of the family, and I tried to get my older daughter (23) interested in a Mini, and she doesn't like them. I did show her how much fun her old man has on a back twisty road and scared the bejeezus out of her. She had never been in a real car motoring.

That's ok, I still have another daughter who thinks the Mini is cool.

Very cool! I remember when my father was alive, we did things like this, too. It usually involved motorcycles, however.

Saw that you bought these cars in Charlotte. I enjoyed living in Charlotte for many years. Don't get to visit there much, but enjoy it when I do.
