I just found a VIN number on the file in the owners lounge. Can I now tell more about where my car is? on boat, still waiting, estimated delivery... etc? Seems owners' lounge isn't quite that up to date.... Is it on the boat? some folks seem to know which boat (how?). how do folks know their production date & all that? my dealer is a good guy, but pretty busy selling (I guess).

Any suggestions for further sleuthing appreciated!
