Yeah just look on ebay and search for euro plate or german plate...their are different venders. You can even get a custom one made.

If you google "euro plates" you will find lots of sights. Here's one for a quick link, good luck.

I don't have my MINI yet and I am a novice to the European plates. How do these attach compared to US plates? Do I need the dealer to do something different to use one of these?

When you order your European plate, you will also need to order the frame. The plate has no holes for screws to mount the plate. The holes are in the back of the frame, then once the frame is in place, the plate goes into the frame. There are numerous variations and one of the mounting hole variations lines up with US plates.

You just need to order the bracket and it attaches to the in the front bumper where the US plate goes (my hubby had to drill two new holes, but still within the dimensions of the US plate, so a US plate would cover the holes). The European bracket has many holes in it for fitting, and they look GREAT!! This one folds around the plate and clips in holding the plate in place. when we HAVE to have a front US tag, we will just get a tow hook licenseplate holder! We ordered this one from www.autogeek.net for about $14.99.

If you don't want to drill holes (which I did not want to do) I used two nylon zip ties and fastened the bracket to the bumber through some slots in the lower grill. Worked like a charm and has stayed on there for over a year without a problem!

I ended up getting a bracket from the MINI of Munchen dealership in Germany when I was over there last year and brought it back.

The ones the eurpoeans seem to use are made by Wurth so you may want to do a search for them.

I do believe the yellow plates go on the rear and the white in the front no?
