My '06 MCS has been ordered!!
Scheduled for August delivery!! I can't hardly wait either!!!. DS/S Silver "U" Sripe and loaded with web spokes. I only wish I could get JCW sport seats like the pics I've seen on this web site.

The shark image is pretty neat. I've never seen a moving one before.
I think I lucked out with my recent order-- my stuff got assigned to a Sandia Mini spec car that was about to enter production, so I'm moving right along. Hoping for build completion this Thursday and delivery whenever they get around to shipping it to Albuquerque.
I fear Gg195 might be right-- when the waiting's over, I'll have to facing more waiting every day while I'm in the office. --doug

For ToddM-- Congrats on the DS/S! I fell in love with that color (non-color) combo and ordered the same thing. I only wish the leather seats came with a grey/black option like the vinyl ones do.
If you have ordered stripes, make sure to look at the various materials/colors at the dealership or available at their tint/stripe contractor. At Sandia Mini I saw both a dismal, dull almost colorless stripe, and a brilliant silver metallic stripe material on another car that is a perfect match for my roof. So I was very specific about getting the silver stuff for my bonnet/boot.

Bonnet Stripe - Factory U stripe?
Thanks for the info. I ordered the Factory matching pure Silver "U" Stripe. I hope that it comes from the factory and not from some after market? Are you saying they put the stripe on at the dealer even if you ordered the car with the U stripe as seen on the web site?

Well I just checked the Owners lounge and my Mini has just moved from "On Order" to "Scheduled for Production" Does anyone know how long it takes to move from Production to Awaiting Transport?

"U" Stripe comes from the factory
I just spoke with mini usa and was told that the Silver "U" Stripe comes from the factory and matches the roof perfectly. Not to worry.
