Hey guys! I ordered my new MCSa on 6/3, and got my production number...however, I haven't got a build date yet. There's nothing in the Owner's Lounge (other than the order info), and 1-866-ASK-MINI just says there is no definite build date. How long does it usually take to get a date? Am I just being impatient?

 

I dont remember exactly how long mine took, but around a week,maybe less.

 

If you call ASK-MINI and select the option to talk to a human in customer service, they seem to be able to get a little more information than the automated system or the OL. When I use the automated system, it gives me the puzzling/worrisome "Production is scheduled, with no firm production date" response. When I talked to the human, he said it's "tentatively scheduled" for week 27... I'm not sure how bad the "tentatively" thing is, but at least I know when to start calling twelve times a day...

 

Thanks, I called and talked to a human as suggested, and I also have an estimated production for week 27. I wish it was sooner than that...my MA told me delivery in 4 to 6 weeks from the order date, and production in week 27 would push delivery out to 8 weeks or more. I'm trying to keep the miles from getting too high on my trade, and I put on over 350 a week. Ahh well...thanks for your help
