Cooper has the CVT, Cooper S has the 6 speed "paddle shiftin' " steptronic. Not a bad alternative to the 6 speed manual.

The wait should not be longer than 5-6 weeks. We ordered our second one in late April and got it over Memorial Day weekend. Jason and the entire crew at CF are great, always spend too much time there when I happen by. They are never too busy just to chat and certainly will attend to all your needs. The delivery tracker on MINIUSA was not as accurate as it could have been, but then again, just call Jason.

Enjoy the ride.

I wholeheartedly agree. I would have spent all day there yesterday, but the wife was with . But I was there long enough to see people just pop in to say hey, chat about all things MINI, etc., which was cool. At what other type of dealership do people do that?? I'm thinkin' none. Just another reason why I love MINIs

hey, congrats! my only suggestion would be to add the chrome line interior. it just looks great with the space grey cloth and HB interior. But if it's too late you can always add it aftermarket for a few more $ than during the initial order.

Sounds great. My only issue would be the normal s-light wheels. They weigh 7 lbs. more per wheel and slow the car down. 16" wheels make the car quicker and a the car rides a little softer on the road.

I would like to switch 'em out for something else in the future, but for right now they'll be alright. They're my favorites out of the no-charge wheels, so the weight is something I'll deal with. And I gotta have white wheels!!

The V-Spokes that come Standard on the MCS are lighter and also come in white. As a Bonus, according to the MINIUSA configurator they don't come with Run Flats. Build your MINI on the confirgurator but instead of clicking on the sport pack. Do it Ala Carte for $1,300. (DSC $500, Xenons $550, Front fogs $150, White Bonnet stripes $100). Presto you just saved $100 and now you don't have to worry about parting out those S-Heavies!

Just remember that if you MUST change out the front brake pads if you want those white wheels to remain white!
