Chimera-

Wow, I'm really liking the chrome scoop/silver sport stripe look you got goin on there. I think I had tried that combo briefly on the order configurator and didn't go for it, but it looks great on your mini. Have fun this weekend!

Well, Buddha has nearly 300 miles on him now.

Buddha went mountain climbing today, and thinks Skyline Drive is Da Bomb.

Definitely try it out. Drive it eastbound to get a feel for it then westbound with some spirit. From 99 take a right at 224th, first right and first left and up the huge hill.

Alright, Christian...it's past noon. Are you just out enjoying some quality motoring?

For those who want to know what the JCW mats look like installed:

I don't think we're going to hear from Christian for a bit. After delivery, photos and motoring AND catching his breath, we'll probably see some pics!

Is that a Whalen Shift Machine I see there? If so, how do you like it? Did you get a custom pattern?

Guys, this is Dash. Dash, these are the guys. Say hi. They all helped me get through the process of waiting for you. Don't be shy--especially to Basil. Don't you remember meeting him on your trip to the states?

Just got home in time because it's pouring like crazy!

Well, onto the pics I promised.

I don't want to overload this thread so check out more pics.

So, they knocked off $475 of MSRP price (I did nothing at all). AND they threw in the iPod adapter installed, illuminated S door sills, S front/rear rubber floormats, and wheel locks. NO CHARGE. Those extras add up to almost $700.. which equals a nice savings of close to $1,200!

Dash had 14 miles when I picked him up. The drive home was sooo much fun. The H/K stereo is just plain awesome! I still have to figure out all the controls. Why won't my iPod display the ID tags?

I will read the pile of reading materials that came with it. I love this car!

I am sooooo jealous. Congrats Christian!

I don't know how much you've been checking the week 28 thread - but my mini is in the VDC! All signs point to me being able to take delivery by the end of next week. I'm not sure I'm gonna make it.

I just picked up Pi Rho! He is soooooo awesome! The funny thing was, right after we left, it started thundering and lightning and was DOWNPOURING. But my MINI handled it like a champ... all I can say I love the DSC and Rain sensing wipers! The best choice I made. Sorry no pics! I have to upload them all tonight! :D Just wanted to let you all know Pi Rho is finally in my hands!!

Why yes it is! I LOVE IT! It is by far my favourite mod. Even with the Texas heat, it doesn't get hot like my old OEM **** did (the older models came with metal rings, not plastic like they are now....crop circle burnt into your palm!). It does get pretty cold in the winter tho. I did have a custom design done. I used to have a picture up on my website, but I can't find it right now. It's of a mosquito with "Mosquito" written beneath it.

I'm having one made right now with a custom design for Mary.

Christian, Dash looks great! Your dealership rocks for giving you all the freebees! Can't wait until my PW/B gets here!

We got hit by a similar downpour about Noon today, but I wasn't out in Basil Congrats on getting Pi Rho, did you get him at Peabody? I almost went there (it's about even distance to Peabody or Keeler) but Peabody offered me a very low trade number so I went with Keeler. I might still go to Peabody for service though.

Congrats again...don't go burning up the roads just yet

Wow, awesome about the freebies Christian! Dash looks great, and I'm sure you have many many motoring miles ahead of you. Basil has 240 miles so far and I'm sure I'll double that this weekend

Christian, congratulations, that PW/B looks great. I guess Dash doesn't have access to the NAM so tell him "Hi and welcome," from me. Good deal on the savings.

Sheenabea, congratulations and welcome to Pi Rho. He will get more awesome the more you drive.
