Hey everyone,

I am on the waiting list at MINI of Scottsdale. My MA said I would "probably" get a July production slot (which she would receive late May). I haven't heard yet but am waiting, waiting...not very patiently but...well you all know.

Motor on!

I was told 2-4 months for a production number from MNS...

I got it in two months, and my car was built within a week.... currently awaiting transport!!

Nice to see some fellow Arizonans here! I'm still waiting to see if Scootr made it aboard ship yet, as soon as he's here we'll be checking out one of those ice cream nites, you can bet...

Do you see many MINIs here? I see about 1-2/week, and that's counting the one that lives next door in the garage!

I hope we are going to see a lot of you from Arizona coming up to "nearby" Colorado for "Mini in the Mountains" in August!

Check out the details at https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/mitm-home

Hey there,

I hope to see you all at the Ice Cream Nights - they are FUN!! And check out the calendar - lots of other events all month long! Even if your MINI hasn't arrived wet - come on out and meet the folks in the club, We love to talk about MINI's and met new people. You will get lots of new ideas about how to customize your new Baby

As far as MINI spotting goes - I see about a dozen a week all over town. Lots by my house in Mesa.

Ice Cream Nights? Sounds fun! Where do I find out about those? I'm a newbie here.

I see more MINIs because part of my business is driving...motoring...around the Valley. I would say I see about 4-6/week but usually on the freeway. I always try to catch up and check the "stats".

My MA called the day I joined NAM. She's out of the office but am going in Thursday to place my order.

Going for the MCS, CR/B, Bonnet stripes, Premium, Silver int. Automatic (I know, I know but I drive A LOT), Tartan/Leather, 17" S-Lite Perf.

Thanks for the replies.

PS I followed the link for www.dynamicminicollective.com and found the calendar. It's a Favorite now!

Uh-oh! Is SCOOTR your baby's name? I think that would be a great personalzed plate. I might need to rename mine if that's the case. Would want to create an identity crisis for our little ones!

I went on the waiting list April 22. My order should be placed this week. My MA said a July production slot would mean mid-Aug/mid-Sept delivery.

Thanks for the encouragement and welcome! Also the MINI club looks great.

I have posted/replied to several items this morning and none are showing up. ???

Am I missing something? Is there a moderator that has to approve? Please help this NAM Newbie!

Thanks!

PS OK...I really am showing my NEWBIE-NESS. All of my postings just "hit". <blush> in Chili Red, of course!

Last one...I promise.

Just in case you didn't know...

I received this after reporting a "problem" with my postings:

Initial posting requires a moderator to approve the post before it goes
live on the site. We do this primarily to keep NAM spam free. That
temporary posting limitation has now been lifted from your account and you
posts have been approved.

Right on!

Can't wait to see you at one of the events. We always have a good time.

There are 2 events this weekend -
Saturday night we are going to the Scottsdale 6 Drive In to see CARS
and Sunday evening is the Ice Cream Run to Mary Coyles ( downtown PHX ).

I will be at the Ice Cream run - but not CARS. Feel free to stop by and meet the members. Lots of fun MINI owners with lots of very nice MINI's.

If you can't find me ask for Scott - he is the local leader

Hope to see you soon

John / Bigcoyote

How nice of you to offer, but no need to re-name - I won't mind if we have the same name, and I'll probably come up with some sort of nickname anyway once he's here - just like with all of my animals! As far as the plate goes, my last name is Cooper and I'd rather play off of that than use MINI's name so it's yours if you want it (assuming it's still available!).

Good luck with your wait!
