Aero Kit Installed At VPC?

I am patiently waiting to for my 2006 MCS to arrive in the states and was considering adding the Aero Kit. The problem is my dealer said it is $2700 for them to install it. He did say that a bulletin just came out that states that the Aero Kit can now be installed at the VPC before it hits the dealer and that it should be cheaper. I am waiting for him to get back to me on pricing.

Has anyone here had this done at the VPC? If so - how much and were you happy with it?

Also - I have noticed some pictures that show the Aero Kit with the fog lights blacked out. Is this how the 2006 Aero Kit comes? Do the fog lights still work (ie. - is it a cover or tined plastic?).

I have seen kits put on at both the VPC and the local hanger for the dealer. Looks a little better from the VPC, and a couple hundred cheaper (from this dealer, at least).

The black out goes around the fog light and is purchased separatley (sp) from the dealer (like $40).

Thanks for the info. Just got word from my MA that it is $2300 installed if done at the VPC (versus $2700 at dealer) including the fog light blackouts. I went ahead and had it added to the car and requested the original bumpers and skirts be given to me as well since I paid for the car to begin with. We will see if that happens.

Yeah, that is what I paid for the VPC install. I too called my dealer and requested the black outs over the fogs, they give the front more definition (IMO).

Yeah the aero kit is pricey, but I rarely see any, "So I got that goin' for me, which is nice."

Got word that the aero kit will delay my car by up to 3 days at the VPC while it gets installed. I was also told that I would not be able to get my original bumpers, etc. That kinda bites - since you paid for the car. I guess they don't want the hassle of packing it all up and shipping it down to the dealer. Oh well - car is going to look pretty "S"weet though.
