This is a tad late...
Hi there, MINI lovers. I've enjoyed reading posts here this past year and a half! I never did post a hello...in fact I forgot my login and pword.
Ahh well. My MINI was born under a dark star and has recently been bought back by the company, so I'm moving on. How sad! I didn't even get out of First Gear (or is it Nuetral?)
Happy Motoring, gang.

They replaced 4 assemblies in 6 months, and with no real diagnosis, I just figured it was a safety issue I couldn't live with. Plus, the fabric roof was replaced due to holes; rear side windows were replaced, window regulators, etc, etc. Lots of issues. I think I was in a loaner car for a total of 5 weeks. And the buyback process was really not a good one. Very bad communication between the dealer, MINI, and me. My replacement was sitting in the showroom with my name on it, but I felt like I got yanked around again by someone working at the dealer, so I took my check and bought something else. But I DO miss that little car!

Sorry about your horrible experience. Cannot blame you for getting something else. Enjoy your new ride!
