HAHA, I was thinking about it, but I might give my MA a chance to answer my emails (yes emailS) from the past couple of days, which were his days off.

Wait I just thought of something. I thought all MINIs need to go the VDC after offloading from the boat for inspection/prep. Has anyone confirmed their MINIs have gone through the VDC and really on the way to the pickup dealership? Oh am I just raining on eveybody??? Sorry!

HAHA! yeah, I am sure mine went through, especially since the car is on the truck! Since they were offloaded early, they got through early, and i have heard that the cars are flying through the VDC pretty quickly these days. Good thing? Bad thing? Hell, who cares! My MINI will be here soon!!

I think I can top that: My MINI arrived a few days BEFORE my Bar Class began. So I technically have to wait until the end of JULY before I can enjoy my new MINI!

Well, it looks like my instincts were correct! As long as the truck gets there on Monday the 5th, it should be ready on Thurs. the 8th for me to pick up! YAY!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

 

Just returned from a week in hell building a cabin in the woods. Rained the while time. At least it kept my mind off our MINI. Just talked to my MA. Scheduled date in Portland is the 5th. Not confirmed. She also said it will take about a week plus to complete service and installation of the options. At least we will be able to visit and take pictures of Billy II.

 

Welcome Back!! I am still trying to decide if i want to drive the 45 minutes on Monday night and take a look.... We will see how I fell that night.

 

I must be on a different truck if you are getting yours on the 5th. in Seattle. Mabe ours will arrive sooner.

 

its possible! My MA said that it should be there on the 4th, but that they dont usually get trucks on Sundays, so he is expecting it Monday. As long as i get it next week, I dont care.

 

Finally got hold of my MA. My MINI is scheduled to arrive in San Francisco on June 5th. So I'm probably not on the same truck as the MINIs heading further north. My MA is trying to get the MINI prepped, have the accessories installed so I can pickup on the 7th. I don't want to pick up the MINI in the evening, since it'll be harder to check for any damage, etc. Otherwise due to a vacation to Yosemite and other scheduling conflicts I will need to wait unit Saturday 6/17 to take delivery.

Why, why do I feel like it's hurry up and wait!

 

UGH!! And just when you think the waiting will end...

 

Good news: My MINI is @ the dealer! Yay!

Bad news: I have to wait until 6/9 to pick it up. 8 more days...

 

Yeah, so anyone willing to bet how long the next 7-8 (18!!!) days will feel? Oh man! I dont know what I am going to do! Good thing I dont have a lot to do at work cause I dont know if i Could concentrate, but if I had more stff to do I wouldn't think about it as much. UGH!!!!! I need to go home and play with my dogs.
