for some reason it isn't comming up in the system. How could I have a VIN# that ASKMINI gave me and not be in the system? CONFUSED!

It could take up to 5 days for the vin to be in the system - if you call Mini USA they should be able to add it to the database ( it does take a few days ). I went thru the same thing with mine - but mine was from Spain. It took me calling MiniUSA, BMW Europe delivery, BMW military sale Germany, BMW Spain, etc... I finally got it all worked out But it took about 10 days - and I was trying to get the factory warranty transfered from Spain to the USA also -- lots of fun. But I got it done

I was able to see my car in the Owner's Lounge the same day I got the production number, before a VIN was even assigned.
