I am curious I am a motorcyclist and we all wave to each other
on the road. When I owned a corvette we waved as well.
Do mini drivers wave to each other?

Just kidding, most wave, some stare; it depends on the person. When its not Bike week or Biketober fest I'll wave to the motorcycles, I get almost as many waves or the two finger wave from them as I do MINIs.

I've gotten some five finger waves from non-mini's.......

 

When the new MINI was introduced in 2002, just about everyone waved to each other. In the bigger cities that have lots of MINI dealerships, like in Los Angeles where I live, there are now so many MINIs, lots of them no longer wave. But I sure do! I also wave at other British marques, motorcyclists, and cool cars whenever I see them!

 

Living in an area that has very few MINIs I always wave when I see one.

 

I see others rarely still, and I have reverted to just a quick headlight flash to get their attention and then maybe a wave. That is when they're coming head on. I get more waves that way.

 

I've waved for almost a year now and my MINI is just tomorrow getting to the US (an early March order). I also do an occasional thumbs up.

 

Some wave - some don't - I wave ALL THE TIME....

The PW I passed yesterday.....she did one of those 'out of the corner of her eye' looks and ignored me. I layed on the horn and waved. She still didn't look. It must of have been a rental.

 

Waving started out strong in the early years, but other MINI owners don't seem to know that they should wave, or don't care.

I always wave, and encourage others to keep trying to spread the good will.

 

I always wave, even when in our other car, which really seems to confuse people, I also like to do the bike wave even though I don't own my Harley anymore, but they seem to not accept it when you're in a cage, he he
