Hello,

This is my first post and I am a newbie to all of the abbreviations so be kind. I moved back to the east coast this past year(from southern California) and had to take a long hard look at my current car situation. I own an '03 Honda S2000 and love it.The problem is that it is so not a winter car and the harshness coupled with a tail end that seems to only be happy when it wags especially in the cold with her summer dancing shoes on. These problems along with a few others regarding the car have led me to the bittersweet conclusion that the Mini is the only car out there I will be happy with in my current situation. So then now to the good part, I orderred an "06 MCS in CR with #1,2,3 packages, Harmon Kardon upgrade, piano black, anthracite headliner,white roof,Bonnet stripes,armrest,chrome grill,driving lights,17" web spokes, LSD...and I am totally stoked. As soon as I test drove it I knew instantly this is a car that will put a smile on my face whenever I need it. The hardest part is not giving up the S2000,the top down 9K redline screams...but I find it is the damn color choices for the Mini. My dealer had about fifty on the lot and they all spoke to me in thier own way. I narrowed it to the red of course and the white w/ black roof...tradition won out and the red obviously won. I can only thank the better judgement of current Mini owners who were brave enough to pull the mini trigger, for they will provide me with the viewing pleasure of thier color choice( you cant see it when you drive it).
