Naming

While I'll enjoyed my Mini a great deal over the last month I still have yet to name her. Its not that I don't want to, its just that I want the name to be perfect...

so any suggestions as to how to name her? How did you all pick a name?

Thom,

Don't fret, it took me forever as well. I thought my MCS looked like the Batmobile inside (anthracite…yum), but since the Batmobile is over-played, I looked elsewhere in the Batman universe. I remembered an animated Batman episode where he needs the help of Bruce Wayne’s childhood hero, The Gray Ghost. It's a great name, and more suiting to the MINI.

I know a lot of people go the female name route, which is always fun.

Google boat names for some interesting ideas as well.

Good luck naming him, her, or it!

Did you ask the car? Try it, and then the name will come to you...

Yeah, my wife didn't believe it either, but after delivery I was driving home and thought, "what is your name, little blue car?" The name popped into my head as it if was planted there..."Dinah". Go figure. It's not a name I had been considering, or even had in my thoughts for any reason, car-related or otherwise. But there it was...so who am I to argue? So Dinah it is!

I walked outside to have a final peek at my new baby the other night and as I've heard from others... "a name just popped into my head and wouldn't go away" , so "DOONE" is here to stay. Don't ask, I honestly don't know.

No name for mine yet but I have not taken delivery yet either...so I am hoping that the name will just come about once I take it home!
