Hey There,

I just took delivery of my new mcs/jcw in astro black this past friday.
The car is absolutely fantastic. I do have a question for my fellow
astro black pals as well as anyone who can offer some incite.
I noticed that when I open the front doors I can see the inside
of the front fender panels and there is a fair amount of surface
area that has not been painted black. It does not appear to be
bare metal but looks like a gold primer. I wonder if this is unusual
and if the "gold primer" protects me from rust. I notice a very old
thread on the same topic but I understand that there has been
some changes at the factory. Any incite would help. Thanks
