lurv my new mini!

well folks, I went in to look at the honda crv.....and a little '05 orange mini cooper s convert. followed me home......her name is 'Madge' and she comes loaded ..
I can't tell you how she makes me feel on the road. My husband is ecstatic over my decision.....he wants his own now....
"Madge" has the wide black stripes on her bonnet and she is already equipped with xm radio.....man, what a ride!
With me being 46, I guess you can call this my "mid-life" car!
Greetings to all and I look forward to learning all I can about this new addition to my family!

Congrats and welcome to NAM, minianni. So, what color is your husband getting? Their are plenty of two MINI families around here.

Welcome and congrats on your new ride minianni

Sounds like you found a real winner. Make sure you check out the Cabrio forums. When I picked up my Cabrio I was actually going in to test drive an MCS. Call it an impulse buy

Enjoy the ride

minianni, welcome to the world of MINIs! I'm the same age and don't feel it's a mid-life thing at all. I just finally found the perfect car for me. Period. Like was mentioned earlier, your hubby will be next. Remember the potato chip commercial that used to say "you can't eat just one". Well it's like that with MINIs..."you can't have just one"

Have fun!

My wife loves my MINI more than her Toyota Sienna (go figure). She keeps taking the car out at night to run errands or visit friends. Last night she went to dinner with a girlfriend at a sushi place not 1 mile from our house. Instead of meeting her friend (who lives about 10 miles away) at the restaurant, my wife went and picked her up and drove her to the restaurant!

At least she's burning off the break-in miles.

Wow talk about a story with a happy ending. Go to look at a CRV & come home with a MINI & a convert no less. Best get your husband one or he'll forever be borrowing yours. As far as being 46 with a mid life crisis goes, from where I stand you are a young lady.

Congrats from a fellow Hot Orange owner!!

Be sure to check out the Cabrio forum, especially the Hot Orange owners threads. I see you have placed yourself on the Hot Orange Frappr map already.

Happy Motoring!

Thanks for all the mini support! My husband and I are going to our first
"mini owners clinic" next week at Flow Mini in Winston Salem.
We hope to soon post pics of "Madge" mini.
I don't miss that CRV at all........

Congrats, love the Hot Orange. If they offered that in the hardtop I'd have had a tough time deciding!
