Mini Dealers?
Mini Dealers?
This is spawned from my other thread.
Being in Seattle, I'm stuck with my 6-8 month waiting period
Luckily I put a deposit down back in November
But the itch is still getting me and I'm wondering if there any dealers or importers out there (Seattle or otherwise) that can get a customized new '06 mini faster than that. Northwest Mini (my local dealer) charges $550 over MSRP, so if i can get MSRP + $1000 shipping, I'd only be paying an extra $500 to get my mini sooner.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Take a look at Classic MINI in OH. They have a little deal going for NAM members too...check their forum under New Buyer Services here. I just got my car from them yesterday and couldn't be happier with the car or their service.

Mini of the Hamptons sounds like a sure bet. Delivery in about two months compared to six or more.....MSRP.....and especially, delivered almost to your doorstep as long as you don't mind the fee. That's the way I would go if I were in your shoes.

Thanks guys!
Even ordering in november I won't technically get my seattle mini until... <math> .... may - july.

I'll check out the Hamptons
Classic does lots of national NAM sales I think most any dealer nationwide will seel to you, some may deliver some may make you come pick it up. Short waits futther east, and the Chicago area often has car sitting on the lot so may want look there and see if there is something similar to what you wan tthats already been built. White Roof Radio did an episode concerning this a while back check the show notes to fugure out which one, also MotoringFile may have some info as well.

I bought my 06 MCSc from Patrick MINI. They are in Schaumburg, IL. I bought mine from John, but a friend bought his from Kevin. Great experiences for both of us!
I ordered our 3rd MINI, 2nd time from Classic. Order was placed on 3/1 and I expect to pick her up in OH (love the road trip home!) 1st week of May. That's 8 weeks. We've had great service from Classic. Bought our 1st MINI (Audrey)here in California and paid over MSRP. Once we saw how easy it was to order at MSRP and from out of state, we knew where to go for #3.
Good luck with your search.
