First time NAM user!!!

Good Afternoon everyone!
As obsessed as I am with the MINIs, I knew I wasnt alone!
Now I have people just like me to share the same hobby and interest!
I am looking to purchase a classic Mini, I found one on ebay for $12,900. The only thing I question is the durability of the engine. If anyone has any sort of advice, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
Thanks,
SWEETCOOPER711

A good solid early Mini is really more reliable than urban ledgend would tell.
I dont think I woul make a habbit of motoring 1000s of miles.
Would this be your only car or a "toy".

I have had old and new and lived all over the world.
In a nut shell... remember the originals are from England, England is small, people didn't motor a 100 miles to work.
Good regular maintance, and you will be happy
