I finally decided to order a MINI after owning four mini variants over the years (64 Cooper S, 63 850, 66 Moke, 72 Innocenti). I drove a MINI in 02 but wasn't too impressed. Fast forward to 06....what a difference. Back in 02 my main problems with the MINI were 1) New car glitches 2) NO LSD. Well it seems as though those two things have been remedied so I am going to take the plunge but I have a few questions:

Has anyone regretted getting the tan leather Interior?

My dealer says it will take approx. 6 weeks from day of ordering the car until arrival. Is he blowing smoke up my a**?

You may wish to call Classic MINI in Mentor, Ohio as they have several MINIs on hand (several Cabrio's as well).

Justin, I'm an old Mini guy too. When I heard that there was going to be a "new" Mini, I was going to buy one unless BMW screwed it up. I've been happily driving my 03 MCS for 3 1/2 years now.
Time from ordering to delivery totally depends on the dealership. I ordered mine on the 4th of July weekend and got it in early October.
I have no opinion on the leather, I'm very happy with the space grey cloth, but that's not available at this time.
