Hello Mini lovers

Hello everybody,

My name is paul and i just wanted to say that this is the best forum i have been to yet. You all sound so nice and helpful. I jut moved to California and I'm looking to buy a mini cooper S JCW . I have a few questions i dont believe have been asked yet.(If they have i apologize).

First: What is the Mpg on the MCS JCW vs MCS?
Second:do most of you lease or buy? I'm looking into leasing because i want a new car every 2-3 years. I dont know if you guys/gals discuss lease payments or not, if you do i was just wondering what people are getting. The mini cooper S JCW i made was around 36000.

Right know i have a F150, not sure if i want to sell it or keep it. I hate driving my F150 around california because parking is hell. But I need to have somithing that can tow because i have toys to pull. Any help on this would be very much appreciated...

I would bet very few people lease. A guess. Once you've been in a MINI, you will never want to give it up. It become you ... youified.

$35K Big mistake. You will NOT get back anywhere near that value in trade-in or whatever leases do. Most of the options are worthless at trade in.. You've add 50% in options on a $23K car.

Although its easy to push it over $40K, why? Everything you REALLY need comes with the base car.

I can't remember the name of the vendor right at the moment but one of our ewer additions sells a tow bar and even a body matched trailer for the S. I dunno about the longevity of the system but it looks neat. I decided to buy rather than lease. I've gone through enough leases to know I can't possibly stay within the rediculously low (in my opinion) mileage limits the dealers place on you and I'm too likely to tear things up and mod them so when it comes time to bring it back the dealer usually isnt too pleased with me. If you have even the slightest tendancy to want to change things i'd say go for it and buy the car. It seems to be a fairly general consensus that once you start modding these little wonders its hard to stop.

Mine came in at 31.4K. I don't think anyone should criticize anyone for the cost of their customized Mini. Some people can't afford to pay alot or don't want to pay a lot, and some people want what they want. That's the beauty of the Mini, it's all strokes for different folks!
