Differences between pre-06 JCW and current?

Is there a listing of differences between the Dealer installed pre '06 JCW bits and the current '06 Factory installed? Are they exactly the same? Does the '06 get any pieces or changed pieces that were not/are not available on the '05 and earlier models?

Example... are the superchargers any different? (could be different part numbers?) different gaskets? Etc...?

TIA

I don't *think* there is any difference in the engine bits, but ordering the JCW from the factory gets you LSD as well. Dealers (typically) won't do an LSD install, and if they did, it would be outrageously expensive.

I wish I had an LSD on my 04 MCS JCW. Even with aftermarket performance tires, at peak torque they do break loose now and then.

Super charger and head have been the same part number from the beginning. LSD is yummy though it's not included in the JCW kit (from the dealer.)

No difference except LSD cannot be dealer installed ...

The factgory JCW Package ($6,300) includes the JCW Engine Tuning Kit ($4,775 + 10-12 hours labor if dealer installed), JCW Brake Kit ($1,065 + 3.5 hours labor if dealer installed) and LSD ($500 if ordered separately). However, to order this package the Sport Package ($1,400 or $1,900 with R98 wheels) or Checkmate Package ($2,200) must also be ordered.

MINI Germany includes 16" R94 wheels in their JCW Package. MINI USA should do the same instead of making you order things you may not want

In terms of TC, they are identical. Even the "older" models are identical if you buy the upgrade kit.(except the exhaust because 1/04 on builds have different hangers)

A dealer told me (warning bells should be going on at this point) that the factory installed JCW kits seem to be producing a few more HPs than those cars that had the kit installed at the dealership cars. The same dealer mentioned that the factory seemed to have learned a few tricks to extract some more power. I have no idea what thos "tricks" could be, however. Again, take this for what it is worth. Just passing on what I have been told.

Bull. Which dealer is this, again?

Doubtful ... Never believe what dealers tell you anyway because half the time, you will find more information out in the virtual world than the know. If its the same parts, they can't be getting more HP.
