Mini Welcome Kit?

I am a newbie to the mini world (mine is in transit). I have read in some other threads about a welcome kit. Is this still something they do and if so, when does it arrive? Thanks!

It happened for me in November

I picked up my MINI Oct 8th 05 and got my welcome kit sometime around late November early December. So I assume they continued it on the 2006 model year.

Oh that's a rubber band. Boy do I feel silly now. I thought it was an emergency supercharger replacement belt. I've got it in my glove box, just in case.

Welcome to NAM!

Your welcome kit will prolly take a few months... (mine always have...2 months or so) so just forget about it, motor a lot, and then one day... suprise!

My floaty pen has a Mini going from Hollywood, CA to NYC. Viva la difference!

I took delivery Dec 1 and got my kit in January about 5 or 6 weeks later

Mine arrived about a month after I rec'd the car...it has a lot of fun things in it...I really enjoyed the ticket book and the little signs you can hold up for other drivers/riders to read on the fly....I didn't get one that says "Miss Daisy DOES NOT drive this car", but that's okay, I'll make one up. A new addition to the kit is the labels for the toggle switches. The "EJECT" label got the best reactions.... Mick
