Buying a used MINI

I have found a used MCS that I'm looking to buy, but the dealer doesn't know what options the car has. If I get the car's VIN number is there a way I can use it to get a list of all the options on the car (like the LSD for example, which cannot be seen without taking the car apart)?

Thanks for any help,
Luke

If you're at a MINI dealer, they should be able to run the VIN and pull up the info you're looking for. I bought mine used from Carmax then drove over to Patrick MINI in Schaumburg, IL and they were able to pull it up for me . You'll need that info anyways to find out how much of the original warranty is left.

Good luck, post pics if you get the MINI

Thanks a lot! I'll be sure to post if I purchase it. Even if I don't I will be purchasing one in the near future.

Thanks,
Luke
