Hi all,

After finding and joining SSM (sunshineminis.org), I learned about NAM and thought I'd join in it, too. Can't have too much information/interaction with other MINI fans.

I've had "Coop" (an '05 green on BRG MCSC) for over a year now, and love the car. No mods, other than a K&N drop-in.

Look forward to posting with you folks in the future.

 

Welcome! How have you resisted mods? I've only had El Kabong for 3 months and have lost track of what I've done. I've kept most things (except the wheels and tires) fairly inexpensive, but that won't last!

I don't know how I've resisted mods... "Coop" seemed really nice from the beginning, and I don't want to screw up the warranty... I'm getting weaker, though. I'm caught between springs, wheels, shocks... It's not how fast you go in the straights, but how fast through the corners.

Help me!

I only have my MCS for three weeks now and I am resisting the mods bug. I want to see how the car rides before I start swapping stuff. How can I appreciate the mods when I have not appreciated the car yet?

Welcome from another 05 BRG MCS. Hope you will enjoy it here at NAM. I resisted the mods for about a year. When you start you just can't stop. I like to put something on and try it to see how it feels then move on to the next thing. Good luck with yours it sounds nice (but it is a BRG MINI).
