Integrity nearing the port in NY. Looks like it will probably land overnight some time and I guess we'll get unloaded in the morning. I'm still crossing my fingers that I'll get to pick up my car some time at the end of the week if all goes well.

"Estimated Delivery Date"? I just was looking at the OL progress tracker. When I click on "review order detail" it is blank except for "estimated delivery date 3/23/2006" ?! I assume that means the estimated date it would arrive at the dealer, but that's kind of cool. I wonder if they will have time to install my aux port by the weekend... I had given up even looking at the OL since the info is usually not very up to date.

Which boat were you on Undersea? It looks like Intergrity was delayed a bit. According to the WW voyage info it appears that the ship is now a day or so behind schedule, but it says arrival NY 3/20 and departure 3/19 on one line and then arrival 3/20 and departure 3/21 on the next line. Ports further down the line seem to be a day later than they were scheduled. My car has not been discharged yet according to the tracking.

Ours will be the hyper blue with silver top and mirrors, black and lapis blue leather interior. We're having a clearbra put on before we take delivery, because stone chips are a problem sometimes. I had one on my G35C and it was a lifesaver.

So, you had to buy near Papadeaux, eh? Gotta' admit, I love their etoufee'. My wife isn't as big a fan as I, but I like to go to the one up here in Alpharetta now and again.

I don't see any positional info from Terrier yet, but I know it has left Southampton. It'll suck if we can't stalk is as it sails, but I guess that's life..

So, are you doing anything to get ready for your MINI? I met with my MA on Saturday (trading in my car, so I got the trade-in value and finalized the $$ I need to have) and he mentioned that I should be able to pick it up in a week or two!!! I am so excited. With the one day delay in the Integrity, I'm thinking that I'll be picking up the MINI on April 1st - April Fools! - how great is that??

So, to celebrate the addition to our family, I just went out and bought some coco mats (Since my new addition is Hyper Blue, I bought the black with blue dots).

And, I'm clearing out the garage to make sure there's a home for my MINI!

The Figaro hasn't been updating on Sailwx for a while, but the WW site is now showing a one-day slip in its schedule, with arrival at Port Hueneme now on April 1.

'Slayer, thanks for the regular Fig updates. You are a great resource for us west-coasters! The Figaro updated its position on the Sailwx site as of last Thursday, but yeah, it was awhile before that.

If you look at the WW tracking info you can click on the "voyage" number and it shows you the ship's itinerary. It now shows the Integrity in port as of today, leaving tomorrow. It looks like the dates for the other ports are also a day later.

glennaa11 how do you find all this information before anyone else? I sure am glad to have been sailing with you, because you seem to have the inside track on things

Because I have no life. Now I will be stuck though because from this point there is no way to track when the car gets on a truck or when it gets to the dealer until they call to let me know. I don't believe I have ever memorized the VIN to my car before.

You are not going to escort it from the dock to the VPC or from the VPC to your dealer? Jeez. I thought you cared.

She's here, eh? (I'm another Integrity passenger).

Wait's been killing me too. Already got new shoes for her - I keep one the bedroom.... wife thinks I'm nutz :impatient.

She knows me all too well though and has called it from the day the Mini was ordered. Will be (have been) reading Mini brochures, manuals and road tests until delivery date. Then I'll be missing in action for a while.... either driving in circles, or sitting in the garage when I can't .

BMW has done it's psychology research. Create an order tracking system to build up buyer anticipation to the point that we'll take anything that rolls on delivery day.

I have no idea what's going on with my car. My WW page never updated to "Loaded on Ship", even after the Terrier sailed. Now, my WW page says that I'm back on the Integrity, headed down to Charleston. The Owner's Lounge says that I'm "En Route". I hope my car didn't get lost on the docks!

It's here! It's here! I just got the surprising call from my MA that my car is ready! Apparently I was one of the last off the boat which meant I was one of the first to make it through the VPC and onto a truck. They installed my aux port right away and I can pick it up tomorrow morning. A very happy surprise. Yay me!

I was doing just fine too until I got my production number. After that I turned into an obsessed mini freak. Now I hate myself for not ordering back East and driving the car back. Oh well, at least I'll save a bunch on payments and interest
I hear ya on that.. i ordered my mini in oct. So i paid of a fw bills and saved up for a nice down payment!
