i drive an 05 cooper s with the factory sport link. mini fini supplied the trailer hitch forthe link. all seeme ok! the trailer is a little guy teardrop that is about 700 lbs.what is the truth about why mini-fini is closed?:impatient :impatient :impatient

 

I would be curious to know the answer to that question also.

 

I actually talked to the guy that bought out FINIMINI yesterday. He is about to start production on the sport link again and also the tow link. I have one that I have put on my Solo car and hopefully soon to be on the race car also. That way I can haul tires. I make sure to let everyone know when the parts are avail. again. Or if you want to send me an email and I'll start a list so we can ship as soon as I have them.

Help I have a 06 S convertable with a factory sports link which I only bought the link so that I could tow my small traler with diving gear. Now I can not find a tow link for it. can anyone point me in the right direction . thank you

 

MINI fini was recently aquired. The website that had gone dead is not back up with new contact information. You may want to contact them directly about when the Tow link will be available again.

Ouch! I guess that's not the best way to restart a company that already had a somewhat tarnished record the last go round.

As you may have previously heard MINI-FINI did cease operations in July of 2005. In December of 2005 Allfab, Inc., a privately held Columbus, Ohio based contract manufacturer, acquired the assets of MINI-FINI LLC. All patents, trademarks, intellectual property, tooling and equipment now are in the possession of Allfab, Inc. MINI-FINI has restarted operations as a subsidiary of Allfab and we are working diligently to bring the products you seek back to the market place. So far we have received very strong interest in all of the products previously offered: the Sport-LinkTM, the Bike Rack, the Ski-Rack, the Tow-LinkTM and the Cup-LinkTM. As of this writing, we have the Cup-LinkTM, the Bike Rack and the Tow-LinkTM available for sale on the MINI-FINI web site - <http://www.minifini.com> minifini.com. Our plan is to direct market these products as well as re-establishing relationships with some of the vendors that previously carried the MINI-FINI product group. Might want to try and call them directly and explain the situation and see if they can expedite you a Tow Link in time for your trip! Sounds like an opportunity for the company to build some goodwill right out of the gate. Heck let em' know you'll tell the NAM folks your positive experience with the NEW and improved MINIFINI.
