New member saying hello & questions for WA mini owners
Hello everyone! I've been lurking around for a while and finally decided to register. Love to see everyone's enthusiasm here!
I've got a question for washington mini owners who bought out-of-state . I'm hoping to get an 06 Cooper S. Northwest mini is the only dealership in the state from what I found but they told me their waiting list is like 10-12 months!!!

The 07s will be out then right? Where did you go order yours and what paperwork did you have to fill out to bring your baby to WA? Thanks!
P.S. I've seen threads about people buying from out of state dealers but I can't find them anymore. Does anyone know of a "search" feature for this forum?

Welcome!
Search button is in the upper right corner of the page. Check out the vendor listings in the box on the left side of the page also. Classic MINI in Ohio and MINI of the Hamptons are a couple of the good'uns. MotH has quite a few in stock, per their recent posting, and will ship direct to you; or you could have some real fun and fly there to pick-up and motor home!
Good luck in your search.
ps: where in WA?

Thanks for the reply. Gosh, I must be blind or something.
I could swear that button wasn't there before. I'll check out those dealers. Thanks for the tip. Oh, I live in Seattle.

Welcome! I live in Seattle and faced the same problem getting a Mini in the NW. I ordered from Mini of Murray just south of Salt Lake City the week beween Christmas and New Years. I ran up their website and called. Spoke to a MA, sent them a deposit and received a production number the next day. My car is currently in production with a finish date of January 27th. If all goes according plan I will have the car the first part of March.
Debbie at Mini of Murray has been very good about mailing out all the necessary paperwork and responds to email the same day. There were lots of midwest dealers who could have done the same thing, Utah was closest. Oh yeah they sell their cars at MSRP!

I live in seattle too!!!!!!
Hey, I actually just registered here a couple days ago also. What's also wierd is that I ordered my mini from Mini of San Antonio in Texas. It took a whole lot less time to get than if I were to order at Northwest Mini. It only took a couple of months. My parents live down there, so when it was ready I took a roadtrip in my bmw 318ti, dropped it off at my parents, and drove my new mini back. The paperwork isn't too much different, but it will be a quick flight or long drive to your new mini.
Another Seattle guy here... won't be ordering from NW Mini and waiting for an '07, but I do need to get down there for a thorough test drive to figure out exactly what I want.
It'd be a nice drive back from Murray in SLC or the dealerships in California.
