New Guy here saying hello!
Hello there, My name is Jimmy and I own an 05 Cobalt SS Supercharged. My father owns an 03 Mini Cooper S. I joined these forums because I absolutely love his car. I was out driving it last night and it really suprised me!
I had no idea the Mini S handled that well! It also felt noticably faster than My Cobalt which shocked me. Anyways I just thought that I would introduce myself!

Compared to the doo-doo metallic Buick I had a long time ago, the MINI is from another planet!
Welcome!
Welcome, good looking cars. You'll have to let us know if the 'arrest me' red Chevy attracts too much unwanted attention from Delaware's finest. I really wanted to get a red with silver roof Cooper S when I placed my order but was leary of attracting too much attention so I went with HB/S instead.

So when are you coming over to the dark side?
Nice rides...
I also used to own a couple of Impalas a few years ago. This was at the time when the most exciting car (Aside from the Corvette) in their lineup was the Chevy Impala LS with the 3800 Series II V6.
I no longer buy GM products for many reasons, but they were decent cars in all and all.
I have heard seemingly positive reviews on the Cobalt SS and have not seen that many to be honest. The Cobalt is most popular in sedan LS/LT form and the LS coupe. The Cobalt is definetely a good car and something that was long overdue at Chevy. I never understood why Chevy stuck with the mediocre Cavalier for nearly 22 years.
The Cobalt has Germanic genes in it. After all, it rides on the Opel Astra platform, which is also shared with the Saturn ION (Fugly) and the new HHR wagon.
