Gift from MINI

Well, we took deliveyr of our 06 MCS in November and received our Welcome to the Neighborhood gift pack just in time for Christmas. I was kind of hoping we'd get one of those commuter mugs that actually fits in the little cupholder (so we can lose the big cupholder which we didn't want, got anyway, and don't like), but we got lots of cool stuff. Here's what's in the box:

-MINI MESSAGING KIT a CD jewel case with cards inside that you can flash to other drivers
-A nice bound notebook
-Interstate Highway Bingo, nice game in which you look for different kinds of signs, etc.
--Idiosyncracies of your new MINI brochure
--MINI NOTE from MINI USA
--Note from MINI Financial Services
--Another MINI Roadside Assistance Card
--Little business cards advertising MINI that we can presumably give out
--Unauthorized Owner's Manual
--Owner's Lounge information

You should've gotten a pen in there too! Mine had a floaty pen with a red MINI.

I, too, got this. But about a month ago, I started getting a stencil kit, that said "MINI parking only". Presumably I could lay this on my garage and use black spray paint to "mark" my parking area. The funny thing was that I continued to get these over and over, sometimes 4 a day for several days. Apparently MINI USA's mail list reproduced within itself.

Anyone else have this "problem".

I took delivery of my 06 Mini in November and haven't received anything from MINI.
Do you have to apply for it or something?

I'm in the same position as Outbackbob - picked up my MINI end of Nov (2005), but haven't received the gift.

Is this dealership specific, or does it come from MINI USA?

Thoughts anyone?

Who did you buy from?
Got mine from Clasic MINI in Cleveland.
They included some free stuff, full tank, mats, cupholder, keyring, mini model car, but I think this was part of thier thank you pack.

I picked up El Kabong on Nov. 16th and rec'd my gift from MINI on Dec 22nd. Sounds about like what OP rec'd except I did have the stickers for the toggle switches. I'd really like to get the MINI stencil thing, though, wonder if they'll send that, too.

We got the gift kit also. The pen was cool but did not fit in the pen holder in the glove box. Since this was the only problem we have had with the Mini we called the 800 # to complain. They were extremely apalogetic and said they would discuss this with the engineers! We will see if they figure this problem out.
