roof rack question

I'm new here and a new owner of a 2004 PW MCS in Orlando. It has dealer installed MINI roof racks on it which are great but make a lot of wind noise. The wind noise is so loud that driving with the sunroof open is impossible. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of a wind fairing that is available that works well with the MINI roof racks?

Jeff

Twister is right on here! I don't even notice that I have the rack on my MINI anymore ever since I removed those rubber strips and tossed them in the trash.. . .

You really only need to remove the rubber strip from the front bar. But then you'd look uneven.

It's wierd that the roof rack is quieter when I have my big honkin' ski / snowboard carrier (Thule Flat-top 6) on the rack than it is with nothing (other than those black rubber strips).
