Yep. True today. I recall reading in The Autocar magazine back in '59, I think, about the revolutionary new Mini. It was really different. It wasn't until 1961 when I saw/touched my first one in a San Francisco dealer's showroom. It was a beautiful Yellow Austin 850 parked next to a new Bentley SII Saloon. Unfortunately I have never owned one, yet. I collect another make of SUV(the original) and light trucks. And 1 lone AMC Eagle.
Half of the others are for sale and a Mini or MINI will be an option then. I heard of this site from my son-in-law who owns a very modified MINI. Thanks for allowing a non-owning enthusiast to share in your pleasure.

It sounds like you're halfway into a MINI already. Stick around, Earl... we'll help you make it the rest of the way!

Hey Earl,

Welcome to NAM Are there still only 400 people in Paul? When we moved out one percent of the town left.

My daughter drove from San Diego back to Paul, ID to go to the Frost Stop. Said it was a trip to take photos and just happened to stop there but it was a trip to stop there and just happened to take photos on the way.

all R welcome

--Welcome Earl, hope you get what you want for your SUV's and I hope you get to test drive a Mini classic or the new MINI. That's all it'll take for you to buy one. Either way I think you'll have fun with either ride. Have fun on the board and feel free to search or ask all you want about the cars.
