It'll show up after you put in your VIN along with a bunch of other info.

On the way

Mine left Southhampton on the Toledo yesterday! For some reason, though, the Toledo doesn't seem to report positions on SailWX.

Mcs Cr/w P S C Lsd Hk Rf Waiting On A Train

This pm Ask Mini said it was waiting on a train to the dock. Not bad for an order placed 19 days ago! The MA said they were able to spec a car that had been given a production number already! I may get the free iPOD yet if it get here before 12/31/05!

Well, if you are a 49'er your MINI should be on its way across the pond. The Courage took off over the weekend with mine and 245 other MINI's. Anyone else here on the Courage?

On the Courage

I'm impatiently waiting for my hot orange MCSC. The Courage is due into NY on the 19th and is then headed for my dealer in VA Beach. I'm ****hoping**** for a Mini Christmas! I probably should not get my hopes up...but too late for that! It's really torture since the Courage has not reported weather since Dec. 2.

I'm trying hard not to annoy my family and friends. However, I'm sure that they can't tell that I'm trying So I'm turning to you all for support!!

Mine has been "Awaiting Transport" since the 8th.

So far, my VIN gives me nothing on cargo tracking. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait for the next ship.

This waiting is worse than Christmas was when I was a kid.

I wonder if it is because west coast deliveries use a different ship because of the Panama Canal.

Anyone arriving NJ 12/19, shipped 12/10? What Ship?

My MA says my MCS was loaded 12/10 and is due in NJ port on 12/19. Anyone else have a car on what ever ship that is? Anyone know what ship it is? I'm told 3 days after arrival it will likely make it to Va Beach. Great service considering I placed that order 11/25/05.

Get your VIN number ready, go to the following site, select Auto Cargo and put your VIN number in. It will tell you what vessel, where and when it was loaded as well as how many other MINI's are on the same ship and the ports of destination with arrival and departure dates....

http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do

You can then track your ship across the ocean by finding out it's Callsign at this site first:

http://cgmix.uscg.mil/psix/PSIX2/VesselSearch.asp

And then track it's position in the ocean on this site by typing in the Callsign, very cool:

I bet you're right.

I'm envious of all you east-coasters.

The Courage (Call Sign WDC6907) is showing up today in the middle of the North Atlantic . It left Southhampton on the 11th or 12th.

Well Nics, our ship should be arriving in NY tomorrow. Not sure where they'll be unloading though. My scheduled delivery is the 28th at the dealers. Unfortunately we have about a foot of snow on the ground. Merry Christmas.

hoorah! Well congrats on you picking it up on the 28th (maybe). My car is to be unloaded in SC, which is supposedly going to dock in on the 26th. I hope I can pick it up and roll it off the lot by new year's eve. Happy holidays!

Ship in NJ?? Anyone heard about the COURAGE?

Has anyone's MA said the ship has made it to NJ? Wonder how long it takes to unload/inpect and prepare to ship. Looks like Mini's before New Years! And maybe Mini's before Christmas?!

Courage in Port Yesterday

My dealer confirmed...the Courage made it yesterday, and cars were received by the VDC. Bad news is, the trucking is going slowly, most cars are spending ~ 3+ days at the VDC. Next week...

At the dealer!

Mine arrived at the dealer (Tate) today. Of course we left town the day before. I'll be back to pick this coming week. Nice way to start off the new year.

ITS HERE (or at least at the CF dealer lot)!

So my MA called this am and said that the car was off the truck!, But....delivery would be 1 or 2 days as they were so busy with having received 14 more cars in addition to the 14 last week! So soon, tomorrow or Wed. Still pretty quick service overal, order date was 11/25.

Well, mine was finally discharged off the Courage in Charleston SC yesterday. Kind of strange that my dealer is Classic in NE Ohio and they ship them all the way to SC then truck them back up instead of Baltimore or NY. Must be certain regions are assigned certain VDC's regardless of distance. Anyone else getting their's from Classic in Mentor?
