it finally happened

YES! I picked up my new pure silver, MC Convertable yesterday afternoon. Drove home with the top down and a huge smile on my face.
Im still trying to come up with a name. I planed on naming it squeeky, but decided against it. Anyone have any suggestions? Im getting bonnett stripes installed this weekend as well as the 3M bonnett guard. Im also having stripes placed on the boot.

Is it sad all I want to do today instead of work is to wax my car?? I can't wait to get motoring. My MA told me that the break in period is 1,200 miles and not to rev the engine past 4000 rpm (sounds like common sence) and that I can run 89 octane or better without a drop in performance she said that 87 would cause it loose fuel economy.

Overall it was a good buy from Otto's MINI in Chads Ford, PA. Nice group of people.

I love my MINI.

photos coming

I'm going to borrow the camera from work this week so that I can get some pictures of it this weekend. And will post them as soon as I can, as well as put them in my profile.

fantastic! I'll be picking mine up from Ottos this time next month (hopefully). I do suggest you always use premium fuel, but if you look at the top of the MINI talk thread you will see a sticky thread about fuel where everyone has already debated it ad nauseum.

have fun and maybe I'll see you at one of the phillymini meets!
