My MA knew that my car would be in the US on Dec 9, but didn't know the line or ship... I'm assuming K-line because the WW site doesn't recognize my VIN anymore. Oh well... I'm wondering if I'll be offloaded somewhere other than Charleston (the usual VPC for Dallas).

Well gang, just a few days & my MCS will be here. I've been pretty good about not bothering my MA, but I think I'll start bugging him tomorrow. The weather guessers are calling for snow Thursday-Friday here. I would at least like to get my car home all clean & shiny so we can start the bonding proscess. Oh well it has to get dirty sometime.

Looks like the Franconia has been delayed a day. It is now due into Charleston on the 7th.

 

My MCS is due to be ready for pickup on the 15th, flying into Ohio (bought from classic mini) on the 16th then hauling *** to Phoenix. Got the plane ticket ready, got the time off work, financing all set, check ready for the dealer......I JUST WANT MY CAR ARRRGH SOO CLOSE!!!!!

I got a call from my MA today at lunch. It arrived today (Wednesday) and just needed the dealer mods added. Driving up to pick it up on Saturday. YAY.

Too bad the weather is deplorable. Central Illinois is pretty bad this week.

 

You're giving me hope that my 12/11 estimated delivery date will be accurate.

No, but maybe they will open it special just to get me off their backs. I thought that was a little odd as well that they gave me a Sunday EDD.

3:25PM This must be a rumor, my MA just emailed saying my car is in and I can pick it up on Saturday !!!!

 

Congrats! and I'm glad to here it is a rumor. My MA is off on Wednesdays and Thursdays and my MCS was unloaded in Charleston yesterday, so I was hoping it was a rumor.

 

The OL has shown my car as a 12-8 delivery for a while, but today when I was talking with my MA about what I wanted programed into my new MINI he said it was scheuled for 12-10. I just checked the OL again & yep it's switched to the 10th. It also says that it's at the VDC. That's really ok with me because I was not looking forward to driving my new car home on a road coved in a mixture of snow & salt. Early next week will be fine. A few more days won't kill me....I hope.

Where are you looking on the OL for your estimated delivery date? It sounds as if you had one even while the car was on the ship -- is this accurate? I can't find one for my car. Thanks!

it will be worth the wait. I picked mine up on saturday and it snowed saturday night. it broke my heart to see him covered in salt. at least the snow today isn't as slushy though!

 

OK, I found the place on the OL where you can check your delivery date, but mine still says "en route" or something similar. At what point did you guys start seeing actual delivery dates for your cars pop up here?

 

Sometime during "en route" an EDD will show up. Mine switched to at the VDC today and my EDD changed from Monday to Saturday! Haven't heard from my MA yet though.

 

I don't think you are looking in the right place...when it goes from the page with the diagram on it and says "enroute" go below and click on "review order details" and it will reset to a new page and if you have a date it will appear below your dealers name and above you specific order details

My Jango is supposed to be at the Dallas dealer (Moritz) on Tuesday! A few days of cleaning, finishing and installs (security and driving lamps) and I should pick him up on Saturday! Just one more week!

 

well i'm going to pick up "Lil Ripper" at 1:30 today. I was going to wait until monday but, work is slow today , so i took off early. I'll try to give some impressions after I get him broken in

The OL changed mine from at the VDC to at the dealer today. It was scheduled for a Dec 10th deliver. I'm going to swing by there tomorrow with my trusty Nikon in my sweaty hands & shoot a few frames off. The weather is supposed to be dry here Tuesday so that's when I plan on picking her up.
