Hello
Hello
Just introducing myself here.
My name is Dylan and I own DS1 Motorsports Inc. in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in Subaru / Honda performance, my girlfriend just ordered her 06' MCS so I'm here doing a little research to plan an upgrade path for her. The goal is 250-300whp for a street/track car. That goal doesn't look hard from the info i've seen here.

Dylan,
Welcome to the forum. I think you are going to be pleased with that ability to crank up this engine. I have also just ordered an 06 and it should be in next week. To add to that, my wife has a 2004 Forester XT. Do you have a WEB site that I could look at?

Not bad Dylan.
I like to find people that work with the cars that I drive. I realize that it is only a forester, but the Turbo in that car is pretty strong and on the Autobahn at 120 mph it is begging for more. I can only imagine that power that I could get out of the thing with some basic mods...

I think the twincharger kit, which straps a turbo onto the already supercharged S engine, will put out about 250 whp without any other mods. Helix sells the kit for $4,800 I believe? Not sure if SPI actually sells theirs or not.

You might find out that it's going to cost a "bit" more to upgrade than the Honda. Maybe more than just a bit..after all, the MINI is just a "niche" car compared to the Honda or even the Subaru.
