I'm a little nervous. The automated phone service says that my mini is not yet scheduled for production, but a few weeks ago I talked to a rep who said I am in production week 44.

I'm in the same boat... scheduled for week 44 but still says on order. I am not too worried about it yet. I hear the website is slow to update. I will get nervous once the 31st comes around and there still isn't any changes to the status.

Moving on...

To everyone in week 44 support group it is with great joy mixed with some sorrow that I report I am no longer able to be a member of this fine group.
I'VE BEEN MOVED UP TO WEEK 43!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called this morning and was told that my completion date is Oct. 27th, YIPPEEE.
This means that there is a possiblity that I could have my MINI here in time for our Thanksgiving trip to the mountains and wouldn't that just be a perfect way to spend the holiday!
Anyway fellow week 44ers, call askmini and check you may be pleasantly surprised like I was!

Congratulations - I just called ASK-MINI and I wasn't so lucky. I'm still here, a proud member of the week 44 club. She did offer to go over the options with me, and they were exactly as I ordered them - so that made me feel pretty good.

I just drove my Volvo V70R on the track at Sebring yesterday, and I was thinking how cool it would be to drive the MCSC on that track - especially yesterday, with the top down, as the weather was perfect.

Still waiting..........

Moooovvvin right along...SA said it already is scheduled for production and confirmed by the Owner's Lounge. I think with all the others and the endless add-ons, this one may have been bumped up due to the simplicity of the build itself, PW, H/K and steering wheel only, add anthracite dash and sides and a set of GREY/BLACK leatherette's and SHAZAAM, OUT THE DOOR.

Even the SA at Downtown Mini says with it moving this fast I should just wait for the color I really want. He has a basic Royal GREY S in over the weekend, and he didn't really push it at all. It kind of is just brown to me, but I am sure others will like it just fine. His name is Larry Taylor, call him in Orlando if you want a Royal Grey S basic or loaded, they have two, the loaded is supposed to be a demo, but there aren't any miles on it at the moment. Just prepping it today...

My mini's status changed to in production on the owners lounge, noticed it today. Was nice to see that I have a VIN for my vehicle! Can't wait, hoping my mid November estimate is still accurate!

When and where do you get the VIN from at the "lounge"?

Got Vin And moved up to week 43.

Called ask-MINI today because I have read where some of you have your VIN#s. I was unable to find my updated in the owner lounge. Owner Louge still says on order. Anyway, I called and not only got my VIN# but moved up to I think production week 43. The person on the phone said my car started production and would be fininshed by weeks end. Production date of October 18th. I went from the first week of October to week 45, 44, now 43 or is it 42? I get confussed with how the MINI week ends:impatient . ITS BEING BUILT WHO CARES

I called ASK-MINI yesterday and they told me week 44. They confirmed my options, and told me to call back next week as they would probably have a vin#. I can probably wait until next week to call them again - I don't want to call them daily (although I very much feel like it).

The weather is getting perfect for top down motoring down here.

The automated system has mine as estimated completion November 1st, which is pretty accurate to my original estimate.

I'm excited! Now I just need to remember to call MoP and ask them not to put any dealer decal nonsense on my car.

Pyro... our cars will be 'born' on the same day!

The OL says that I'm still 'On Order' with no VIN and no factory options listed. I called ASK-MINI today and they said that Jango started production yesterday (Monday, October 17) and entered the bodyshop at 4:53am. They said that the car should be complete and ready for transport on Nov 3.

Woo Hoo! IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!

Sweet!! If you want, you should also be able to get your VIN number.

I am kinda disappointed in the whole website thing. I thought it would be updated more often. I don't understand why Mini just doesn't use the same system that the customer representatives use. I wouldn't be bothering ASK MINI so much if the website was acurate...

But... who cares!!! 15 days till my baby is born!!!

Yeah... I'm kinda disappointed in the OL. Hopefully, I won't have to call ASK-MINI again for a week or two... until closer to Nov 3.

My VIN still isn't showing in the OL... It still says that I'm "On Order" eventhough I went into production 3 days ago.

the guy at 866 ask mini told me the lag in tracking is because they are in the middle of updating the system for the 2006 models. not sure why that makes such a big difference... but I'd sure like to see the 06 manual on the website... even if it's not much different!

conception

I just called A.M. and they said my MCSC has started production today! They told me the completion date would be Nov. 6th? That sounds like quite a long time for production. Does it take sixteen days to produce a MCSC? Either way, I'm pretty excited

That sounds about right... Mine started production last Monday morning (10/17) and will finish production on 11/3.

I found out from ASKMINI that their definition of 'finished production' means assembled, tested, wrapped and ready for shipping.

My owners lounge FINALY updated today from 'on order' to 'in production' or something like that. I've got my VIN now too!

I just checked the owners lounge and now it says "scheduled for production" as well. I also have a VIN! I never thought I would see anything different from "on order". This car might actually get here!
