Wow a $38k car for a psychology student. I am envious of your part time employment.

Unfortunately all JCW spec minis have been pushed off until week 45 (oct 31-nov 4). hopefully yours will fit right in there and maybe given your previous problems with the mini they can try to push it through for you. I'm thinking a call to miniusa would be in order... it would be a real success story for them to have you come back to a mini even though you had a bunch of problems. I always tell our customer service department that the true test of a company is not whether you have problems, but how you fix them.

Congadulations, nice color choice, if you would like to how its gonna look like, check my gallery, everything is the same except the front grill, changed with Aero grill. Love the unicolor body, it is unique, every one goes with white or black, and nowadays silver, which I really don't like.

Good luck...

Autologic- I have an addiction to expensive cars. Ask someone at that went to the Dragon last May about my stereo's head unit

I havent heard anything about the JCW MINIs getting pushed back... So I am on the phone with Classic right now...

Apparently they are going to produce a few before then... Hopefully I can be one of them.... We shall see. Bill (Julie is gone for the day) is checking for me. They are going to get back to me tomorrow... Lame.

We shall see about telling MINI about me coming back. Lets see if they change their wiring harness (from the recalled 05 one...)

ariercetinberk- I had an Feb 05 HB/HB MCS... and you made a great color choice too  and the lack of stripes- very nice

NoLimit- what is the point of doing things part way? It is GREAT to be back!

GoKartRide- I have to agree. I didnt get a JCW kit for my last MINI, I cant wait to get one for this one  If you are still in Arlington, we should go motoring!

38k for a factory hardtop? I didn't even know that was possible! Wow. I just want to know if it's really twice as fun as my car.

Welcome back -- I'm glad you changed your mind and decided to give the MINI another chance.

Besides, NAM just wasn't the same without thefuturequeenofnebraska in residence!

oh it is EASY to do more than 38k for a hardtop. come out and we can motor and you can decide for yourself

and there IS a rear fog light  its under performance for some reason...
and I am not a big fan of the lighted door sills... They seem like too much lol

who said I can afford this? haha

glad to be back friends. I missed you all.

Nice, Queen... other than the chrome bits, the wheels and the different upholstery, we'll be in very similar MCS territory... such a shame you had to move away from the DC area to Texas!

Umm... you must be mistaken. There are light-up "Cooper S" door sills, and there are JCW door sills, but there are NO official "light-up JCW door sills", at least to my knowledge... or else I probably would have gotten them!

Actually, with all the JCW bits available, 38K is VERY easy to achieve... and still leaves room for more. Twice as fun? That's very subjective... but the JCW just feels so butter smooth!

You go, Tori!!! I love your specs!! I agree that your story is a very interesting one. Driving a 350Z for less than two months and pining away for another MINI is classic (pun intended)! So good to have you back, sweetie! We missed you!

Look everywhere! It's gotta be worth it the effort. NAM's "Show me your wheels" is pretty good, but despite its length not definitive. I can't remember them, but several folks here posted links to non-sponsor wheel sites that feature other quality brands. Didn't like the 350Z huh? Interesting. Best wishes.

I LOVE the specs on that car.....MAJOR CONGRATS

I am a "leather" person but everything else is how I would order. I'll look to see it in May at the Dragon.

$38K ..... you only live once...... if not now, when?

Thanks, I had a light blue roof and stripes for about 18 months done quite nicely by Cooper Flags. Got tired of it and have tried red and now purple bonnet stripes. May keep these for a while, may try orange . . .
